Workforce Resources

Evanston and Uinta County offer multiple avenues for training employees in order to maintain the highest quality workforce. Our job market and labor pool is diverse; our employee base is prepared for various industrial tasks, retail and customer service, and agricultural skills. Employers have a rich resource base from Wyoming Department of Workforce Services, to the Uinta County Unemployment and Job Centers. These organizations help aid in developmental skills for all employees. Business owners can access these resources for the benefit of employees and overall business development.

Workforce Development Training Funds

The program gives priority to training for jobs that offer wages equal to or greater than the State Average Weekly Wage and benefits such as vacation, sick leave, and health insurance coverage.
